CPSC, Darice Inc. Announce Recall of Candle Holders
The hazard
When the candle burns down to the bottom of the wick, it can set the candle holder on fire, which poses fire and burn hazards to consumers.
Incidents reported: Darice Inc. has not received any reports of incidents. This recall is being conducted to prevent the possibility of injuries.
What to do now
Consumers should stop using these candle holders immediately and call Darice for a full refund.

The recalled candle holders are constructed of unfinished wood and are designed to be painted or decorated. The candle holders, which are intended to support taper candles, come in five different shapes and sizes.
