CPSC, Euroflex Americas Inc., and QVC Announce Recall of Steam Cleaners

The hazard
Some of the attachments are missing an "O" ring in the handle, allowing hot steam and water to escape, posing a burn hazard to consumers.
Incidents reported: 22 complaints of steam escaping, which could burn the user holding the steam cleaner. None required medical treatment.
What to do now
Repair kits are being provided by QVC to the consumer.

About this recall
Euroflex Monster 55 – 1600-Watt Multi-surface Steam Cleaner with Attachments. The steam cleaner has a red body and black cords and attachments. The word "monster" is written on the side of the steam cleaner.
