Hoppe's Recalls Semi-Auto Bore Cleaner Due to Failure to Meet Child-Resistant Closure Requirement

The hazard

Bottles have a child-resistant cap that can become loose. Chemicals in this product can cause skin irritation, internal injury or death if ingested.

Incidents reported: Hoppe's has received one report of a child opening a loose cap and spilling the product on himself. No injuries have been reported.

Replace

Consumers should immediately discontinue use of the product, ensure that the cap is secured on the bottle, keep out of the reach and sight of children and contact Hoppe's for a free replacement product and disposal instructions.
