The gasoline tank can split and leak fuel, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

Incidents reported: Maruyama has received 25 reports of leaking tanks. No injuries have been reported.

Replace

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to the nearest dealer for a free replacement fuel tank.

About this recall

This recall involves gasoline-powered blowers and mister dusters sold under the Maruyama brand name. Backpack blowers and mister dusters included in this recall have a white, translucent fuel tank. Printed on the recoil starter is an alphanumeric code. Serial numbers are located on a sticker attached to the back pad of the blower and mister duster. The blowers also have the serial number printed on the outlet of the fan case.
