Miracle Recreation Recalls Tire Swings Due to Fall Hazard

The hazard

The hanger clamp on the tire swing can fail, causing the tire swing to detach. This poses a fall hazard to young children and risk of serious injury.

Incidents reported: Miracle Recreation Equipment Co. has received three reports of injuries, including two reports of cuts requiring stitches and one report of a fractured foot.

What to do now

Consumers should immediately remove the tire swing, including the swivel, chains and tire from the hanger clamp until a free repair kit is installed. The company has sent direct mail notices to consumers.
