The fuse on the product can overheat and blow, posing a fire hazard.
Incidents reported: The firm has received one report of exposed wires and seven reports of blown fuses on display trees in stores. No injuries have been reported.
What to do now
Consumers should immediately stop using the pre-lit Christmas trees. The firm has contacted all known purchasers of the recalled product and all trees sold to consumers have been returned for a full refund.

This recall involves pre-lit artificial Christmas trees. The artificial Colorado Spruce trees are green and measure about 6½ feet tall. The trees contain five multi-colored incandescent and globe light strands. The SKU/UPC is 31738736. The SKU/UPC is located on the price tag affixed to the product packaging.
