The hazard
The lithium-ion battery packs in the self-balancing scooters/hoverboards can overheat, posing a risk of the products smoking, catching fire and/or exploding.
Incidents reported: There has been one report of the battery packs in the self-balancing scooters/hoverboards overheating and catching on fire. There have been no reports of injuries or property damage.
What to do now
Consumers should immediately stop using these recalled products and contact Overstock.com for instructions on receiving a full refund.

About this recall
